Mr Tulk

this is my second visit to Mr Tulk. the first one was not memorable- bland food, bland coffee. so when my friend suggested this place after waiting in front of Hardware Societe for 20minutes to no avail, honestly i was a bit hesitant. but hey, tummy always win in the end and tummy was particularly hungry at this time.

after looking at the extensive menu, i decided to try the Corned Beef Hash with Poached Eggs. my friend decided on the Baked Spinach Puree with Bacon served with Toasted Sourdough.

how can you not drool looking at these delicious delights?! i was quite surprised when i tasted their corned beef hash! it was very delicious! and the eggs… the perfectly poached eggs! the waitress was kind enough to offer me a slice of toasted sourdough to go with it and good thing i declined cause i was so full just eating this wonderful ‘potato parcel’! my friend was delighted as well with the baked spinach puree (i tried some too and i have to agree with her!)

well well well, Mr Tulk. you have changed a lot since we first met, i must say :) i honestly say today that i would love to come back for another visit (without any hesitation!) and being so conveniently located in Swanston St, i might visit quite often to get more of those corned beef hash (and did i mention the perfectly poached eggs?!)
